The Jackson Academy of Educators, LLC is an extension of The Jackson Academy of Excellence, Inc. We are an independent Educational Consultant agency.
Mission:
The Mission of the Jackson Academy of Educators, LLC is to promote, improve and transform teacher-efficacy in at-risk schools and provide pedagogical solutions through research and phenomenal lived experiences.
Vision:
The Jackson Academy of Educators, LLC will become one of the most preferred educational consultants for improving teacher and school efficacy for imparting academic excellence in poor performing and at-risk schools.
Meet Dr. Nikki Jackson
Dr. Nikki Jackson,
Founder & CEO
Jackson Academy of Educators
Our founder, Dr. Nikki Jackson is a native of Fort Valley, Georgia. She now lives in Savannah, Georgia . Over the years, Dr. Jackson has served in various roles in academia for over 10 years. She has facilitated instruction at both four-year and technical institutions as a Professional Academic Advisor and adjunct for seven years at Savannah State University and Savannah Technical College. She has also taught 6th grade English Language Arts, and served as an English Academic Coach for Upward Bound. She is currently serving as Dean of Students at a Title I school.
Dr. Jackson received her Bachelors of Arts in English from Savannah State University; Masters of Arts in Teaching from Armstrong Atlantic State University, and Doctorate of Education Leadership from Valdosta State University. She became certified in Middle Grades Language Arts, Reading and Social Studies in 2009. She holds both Gifted and Teacher-Leader Endorsements. Additionally, Dr. Jackson holds certificates in Adult Education and Community Leadership as well as in Academic Advising. She has had a passion for teaching all of her life.
Dr. Jackson believes learning takes place both in and outside of the classroom. Supplemental learning experiences and improved self-efficacy provide students an avenue for clarity, reflection, and application. Because of her passion for educating young minds, she established The Jackson Academy of Excellence, LLC in order to provide students the additional support needed to excel tomorrow’s expectations and The Jackson Academy of Educators, Inc. to promote, improve and transform teacher-efficacy.
